If you have any other Pokémon Pokémon anywere and platinum can be obtained only without trade and without duplication of effort, then I suggest a starter Turtwig: Turtwig Torterra-Grotli-Starly-Staravia-Staraptor, Luxray Luxio ShinX-Geodude - Graveler-Golem-Goldeen Seaking-macargo Slugma
Piplup: as above accept replacement with Piplup and Turtwig with Dustox Goldeen
Chimchar: replaces accepted as above Turtwig with Chimchar and replaced by a Slugma Dustox
